(A thump punctuates it, probably him punching something. It's also enough to trigger the video function, which shows a sparkly glass slipper and a boy's foot jammed into it. Zero quickly turns it off when he realizes though. The glimpse of his skin clarifies something though --

(Zero takes advantage of every lull in ghostly activity. Even though the classroom is large, it's still just four walls. But the real problem is all the other students. Sometimes it's hours before the bell finally rings and they're free to wander from room to room.

It never lasts for very long, but it's more than enough time for Zero to walk down the hall, clearing his head and taking a long drink from the fountain at the other end. It also gives him a chance to check things out...he thinks himself to be the sole member of the disciplinary committee.

Which is why when he catches a glimpse of a girl going disappearing through a door, he can't just ignore it.)

I left the apartment completely after getting that call. I came back to the carnival, I thought I knew where to look and that it might help...

((OOC: Zero's body will be found floating in the water of the Tunnel of Love ride. It looks like he got trapped under the cars and drowned, much like one victim reportedly died in the recent article.))

((He starts playing the voicemail, which doesn't have much audio to it. After a few seconds, Zero's voice can be heard murmuring something along the lines of 'It's just water.' The words are followed by a sudden splash and the sound of a struggle. It comes to an end immediately after that.))

It's dated for tomorrow. I've taped off the bathroom, so that should take care of the tub and sink in there. I'll just have to keep a close eye on the kitchen sink. I'm not naive enough to think it's just a trick. But maybe the cycle can be broken before it goes any further.

((He pauses, and when he continues there's a strange emotion in his voice. The subject matter seems to trouble him even more than the possibility of his own death.))

Yuuki disappeared while she was in possession of that weird mask. I don't know if it had anything to do with it, but I don't think we should rule it out.
